JOB DESCRIPTIONS

ADMISSIONS TEAM
Admission volunteers sell and/or take tickets for the show. Admissions volunteers are the first contact the Saltyjam patron has with our event. You should be welcoming and hospitable, setting the stage for an enjoyable experience.

CREW – SET UP & TEAR DOWN / CLEAN UP / GENERAL HELP:
Lifting and moving are keys to this position. The ability to work various hours, various shifts at various times and being a general jack-of-all-trades are all assets.

INFORMATION BOOTH
& TICKET SALES
As an information volunteer, you will provide tourists, and locals, with information about the festival and the city and sell tickets to the festival events. You should be comfortable handling money.

MERCHANDISE SALES
Merchandise volunteers should be friendly, responsible and outgoing people. You responsibility is the sales of artist CDs and other festival merchandise. You should be comfortable handling money.

SECURITY TEAM
Door security is located at all exits and entrances and is required to control the movement of patrons to and from the venue. Good communication skills are a definite asset.

HOSPITALITY
Hospitality volunteers are responsible for ensuring artist contractual obligations are met, the backstage area is kept clean, and ensure the musicians are comfortable and happy. The ability to comfortably chat with the musicians, wear a smile and solve problems is a must.
